The Brief: A Fun Event for Supporters
The Children’s Hospital Charity approached us in the middle of 2018 – they were planning their first Obstacle Race that Summer but their supplier had let them down at the last minute. They were planning to run a fun, inflatable obstacle course for children and their families. Luckily we were able to step in to help.
The Event: A Family-Friendly Inflatable Run
We designed a 5km route around Rother Valley Country Park with 10 obstacles along the way – increasing their number of obstacles from their original event. We made use of some fun natural features in the woodlands around the park, adding in some extra natural obstacles.
The Result: Positive Feedback and New Venue
Despite launching later than planned due to the supplier issues, the Charity successfully recruited over 600 runners to the event, all of whom had a fantastic time! The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and we were pleased to have operated a successful second event at Hesley Wood Scout Centre, Sheffield in July 2019.
