The Brief: Design, Develop and Deliver 13 and 26 mile Treks in Iconic Locations around the UK

Alzheimer’s Society were looking to continue to develop and grow their hugely successful Trek26 Series and to reach ambitious growth targets. Gladiator Events’ values and ways of working align closely with Alzheimer’s Society and this, along with our strong belief in the cause, our shared ambitions, our passion for continually innovating and improving and our experienced and dedicated team led to us agreeing a partnership to work together over the coming three years.

The Event: Ten Beautiful Treks

We delivered 10 amazing treks across the UK in 2024, including two brand new treks we designed in the heart of Snowdonia and on the Suffolk coastline. The Alzheimer’s Society raised in excess of £5 Million across the series, its biggest year ever!

We developed and improved on existing routes and venues in the Brecon Beacons, South Devon, London, the Peak District, the Lake District, Stonehenge, North York Moors and the Cotswolds, taking on board feedback from participants, volunteers and the team at Alzheimer’s Society.

We made key improvements to the series for 2024 and are looking forward to developing these ideas even further in future years. We are really focused on bringing our knowledge and passion as a B Corp Certified business to the series, taking steps to increase the positive impact of the series on the five key pillars of Environment, Community, Customers, Workers and Governance.

We are absolutely thrilled to be working on this event series, contributing towards the Alzheimer’s Society and its work in supporting and being a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia.
